ThugRadio.Net is a super sexy website with companion message board and, of course, there's a slightly demented Twitter along with a BlogSpot & a visual feast via YouTube & DailyMotion. I used to have a Rap/R&B radio show and the site was initially set-up as a guide to what I have and can play on the show. The show has since been discontinued, but I've done much too much work on the site to let it die, so I started adding purchase information in hopes of making a little bit of money through the magical power of website affiliation. With Facebook, MySpace & the like I add people who are interested in Rap, Hip-Hop, Soul, R&B, Funk, Comedy and the such in hopes that they may find the site interesting and/or contribute to the Thug Radio Message Board eventually making ThugRadio a global empire followed by world domination. Or something like that.
Album Of The Week: This week’s ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is something I’ve been wanting to hear for about two or three years, but, due to a multiple moves, it’s been in a box and, for some reason, it was packed before I ripped it for Zune or iPod. Finally I got fed up and went through a few boxes until I found it. Now it’s ripped and on Sancho and sounding beautiful. It’s by an artist who has had great success as a solo artist and has been a part of multiple groups, including Riflemen, Four Horsemen, Originals, N’Mates and, most famously, Tha Dogg Pound. He brought and East Coast aesthetic to the West Coast and blended it seemlessly with a gangsta mentality. This week’s ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Kurupt with Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey.
Amazon.Com Freebie Of The Week: This week’s Amazon.ComPrime Members’ free streaming video of the week is a movie that I expected to be a retarded mindless action film, but actually turned out to be pretty enjoyable the second time. The first time I tried to watch it my TiVo cut off the end. Shooter.
Random Shit: I recently had my first ever drive-in experience and by experience I mean…I watched a movie. Actually, I watched two movies. I didn’t even know drive-ins still existed until I moved here a few months ago. Last night my friend and I went to the drive-in to see The Avengers and “got” to see John Carter for a grand total of $6.25 total. It was fuckin’ awesome, except for the John Carter part. Lynn Collins was pretty hot, though. Overall, two movies for $6.25 and sitting in the comfortable car, with the ability to control the temperature and volume and bring our own snacks without having to worry about talking or cell phones was pretty awesome, except for the John Carter part. The only bad part was the fuckin’ douchebag in the s.u.v. who parked in front of us and had his tailgate up and his inside lights on through half of The Avengers. He’s obviously a douchebag just for driving an s.u.v., but is the extra assholic behavior really necessary? You drive an s.u.v. I get it, you’re a douchebag. You don’t have to be an anal sphincter at the same time. In summary, drive-in: Fuckin’ Awesome! Assholic douchebags: Turd Nuggets!

YouTube/DailyMotion: This week’s YouTube/DailyMotion triumph of the week is very similar to last week’s as it’s the same plea to vote for “Friends Don’t Let Friends Get Raped” at WILDSound Screenplay Vote. It’s a touching tale of love, friendship and rape between Klingons & Muslims. Then Scientologists fly their spaceships into Utah where the Mormons use their magical underwear to censor everyone. Then Ewoks smash giant pigs with logs and… You know what just go vote for “Friends Don’t Let Friends Get Raped” at WILDSound Screenplay Vote.

Raul Loves All Of The Womens: & all of the womens love him. Or so Raul declares in his new single Bitch Better Have My Slurpee. This has been sitting for awhile waiting for me to finish mixing it and adding the final touches. It’s slated for an as of yet untitled Comedy compilation &/or Raul’s own The Slurpee Chronicles, but I used it in the backing of the intro & outro of The Definitive Raul Interview Part 2: The Legend Of The 7-Eleven, so I felt it would be a good idea to have it available so those who may like it can acquire it easily. Now that you have it share it with everyone. The single features Phil M. Cockenbolz & sometimes Old Joe & it’s free so slurp it down, bitches.
I forgot to include the lyrics in the zip, so I posted them on the Thug Radio Message Board. Now you can have your own sing-along. If you’re shy you can just have a read-along. If your deaf you can just enjoy the beautifully written lyrics & giggle inaudibly to yourself.
Artastic Voyage: Our good friend ThugRadioSmurf has signed up for two websites to showcase her art. So far she only has photography uploaded, but I’ve been assured pictures of her paintings are coming soon. Give your eyes a delicious treat and closely inspect her photography on Fine Art America & ImageKind.Com. She also has her own website.
YouTube/DailyMotion: This week’s YouTube/DailyMotion triumph of the week is an epic historic battle caught on memory card. A battle like this has never been seen before. It’s only been dreamed and created by movie makers and pornographers.

Album Of The Week: This week’s ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is a very soulful journey through many of our society’s ills. After releasing his debut album in 2001 it took a full decade to release an official follow-up. During that time he made an attempt at releasing an album, which didn’t work out so well for him. When he finally did issue his sophomore album it was like he had no downtime at all. He even stepped his game up a little bit with a very solid album. But in the end it was one song that made this album destined to be a ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week called “Who Are You.” The second verse goes, “Ever told you ‘bout the girl who thought she was a Christian? / so she walked around tryin’ to save everyone / just like the christ had done / until she heard from the Sun / that she was really an Egyptian / and the Pope just stole all of his concepts / straight from the pyramid walls.” Such raw reality is rarely found in popular music & must be commended. This week’s ThugRadio.NetAlbum Of The Week is Bilal’sAirtight’s Revenge.
YouTube/DailyMotion: This week’s YouTube/DailyMotion triumph of the week doesn’t have any titties in it. Sorry. I know you were expecting part two of The Definitive Raul Interview complete with more titties. Unfortunately, due to a minor malfunction in my medulla oblongata part two is not this week’s visual conquest. The substitute eye feast for this week is instead a sexually stimulating animated video for another track from Bees Knees Grow On Trees Or My Penis Is In Your Eye, entitled “Grandpa’s Song.”
